Abstract: On the basis of the existing iris recognition research, the paper proposes an iris recognition system based on Log-Gabor filter. The system uses Matlab plateform, and combines onedimensional LogGabor filter normalized iris texture and uses phase encoding feature extraction, then uses Hamming distance match iris with the interference mask shielding iris preprocessing noise. The CASI iris image database is used in the experiment, results show that the system false positive rate is 0.125%, rejection rate of 0.05%. Better recognition results are achieved.
